Devin is currently completing his Master of Science in Epidemiology and Applied Health Research at Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Dutton and Dr. Adrian Levy. For his thesis, Devin is characterizing prescription drug use by community dwelling seniors in New Brunswick with myocardial infarction.

Originally from Saint John, Devin has obtained bachelor’s degrees from St. Francis Xavier University and the University of New Brunswick in Kinesiology and Psychology respectively.

Devin worked as youth leadership coordinator at YMCA of Greater Saint John and assistant director at Camp Glenburn prior to starting his master’s degree. It was through these experiences working with youths that Devin developed a passion for exploring the determinants of health in populations.

In his free time, Devin enjoys taking his dog for runs, cooking for his friends, and exploring the waterways of the Maritimes.
